KILCA: ‘’WE AIM TO DISCOVER TALENTS OF OUR YOUTH AND MAKE THEIR EYES SPARKLE’’

Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of the Municipality of Karatay, visited the Karatay Summer Sports Schools, which consists of 432 students. Hasan Kılca, who stated that sports make a significant contribution to the development of children, said; "We aim to make the eyes of students, who are talented in sports activities, sparkle, and to expand sports education by preparing them stronger for the future."

The Summer Sports Schools of Karatay Municipality continue to bring hundreds of children together with sports every year. The Summer Sports Schools, opened by Karatay Municipality with a purpose of both physical and mental development of children and raising healthy generations, got attention from a huge number of students this year.

This year, students were trained at sports schools opened in a total of nine sports branches. An opportunity of making the best use of the summer months holidays through sports activities for the ones talented, was created. The Karatay Summer Sports Schools, which consists of 432 students started on July 5, and will end on August 31, 2021.

Hasan Kılca,the Mayor of Karatay,  also visited the Cemil Keleşoğlu High School Sports Hall, Şehit Nihat Gün Sports Facility,  Celalettin Karatay Convention and Youth Center and the Ali Ulvi Kurucu High School Sports Hall and examined the works on site.

Hasan Kılca visited football, volleyball, basketball, and chess courses and came together with students and trainers at the mentioned locations. Kılca also received information about the situation of the activities and children from the trainers, after chatting with the students participating in the course.

THE MUNICIPALITY OF KARATAY INCLUDES SUCCESSFUL STUDENTS IN ITS CENTER

Hasan Kılca noted that there is a great interest in the "Karatay Summer Sports Schools’’, by stating that they will continue to make as much as effort for the children who are considered as the guarantee of the future.

Hasan Kılca, the Mayor, emphasized that they attach importance to Karatay Summer Sports Schools, which contributes to the children's orientation to sports and the training of young people who are talented in any sports branch and said the following: ‘’We continue our summer sports schools this year as well, which we organize to contribute to the mental and physical development of students and enable them to spend their summer holidays productively. We have a goal of making our county the center of sports. In this context, we placed particular focus on our investments for the children and youth in Karatay, and we attach great importance to the Karatay Summer Sports Schools in this sense. With our Summer Sports Schools, which add value to our county, we both keep our children away from bad habits and want them to improve themselves. There is a great many of successful young people who will make a distinguished name for themselves in sports activities in our district. Our talented students in our schools represent our county in the best possible manner. We aim to increase the light and shine in the eyes of our young people who have this potential and to prepare them stronger for the future and popularize sports training. In this regard, we, as the Municipality of Karatay, will always continue to stand by our children and youth.”
