Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca published a message on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the 15 July treacherous coup attempt and 15 July Democracy and National Unity Day.
Emphasizing in his message that the 15th of July Democracy and National Unity Day is a glorious victory that will not be erased from the memory of the evil foes that aim at our unity and solidarity for a lifetime, Mayor Hasan Kılca stated that they witnessed on July 15 that the spirit of Çanakkale is always alive and always alive.
JULY 15 IS THE SYMBOL OF FAITH, COURAGE AND VICTORY
The message published by Hasan Kılca on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the treacherous coup attempt on July 15 and the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day is as follows:
“The coup attempt on 15 July 2016 by a group of traitors belonging to FETO, the dirty and treacherous structure embedded in the state, took its place in our history, never to be forgotten. Our nation prevented the coup attempt of the traitors who betrayed their nation by shielding their bodies from tanks, planes, bombs and bullets at the call of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. There were many things they did not take into account. They were unaware of the existence of our veterans and martyrs Omers, Erolls, Engins and many more martyrs and veterans who chose to be martyr. That night, our beloved nation showed the whole world in its most magnificent form that with courage and faith, they would give up through the heartland the country, and that the gun and rifle were invalid in the face of believers. One more thing, the whole world saw that our nation, who took to the streets as if they were going to a wedding on July 15th with the heroes who showed their hearts in Çanakkale yesterday, was the same nation and had the same spirit.
Allah has shown that disbelief in the face of faith, oppression against faith, and treacherous attempts against patriotism are of no use. Praises to Allah, as a result of our nation's resolute support of our country, our President, our leader, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and our national will that night, the weapons, tanks, helicopters and planes of the putschists were helpless in the face of this cherished nation full of faith and belief. The putschist traitors trusted the equipment they had, but they could not take into account the sons of the ancestors who ruled the world, our nation. On July 15, our second liberation struggle, our beloved nation showed all evils in the best way that if its ashes were blown, faith would emerge from it. We saw once again that night, on July 15, when our 15-year-old youth wrote an epic with their lives, we never lose hope in this cherished nation. This beloved nation gives up its life, but does not give up on its homeland. The spirit that held us up yesterday has lifted us up again today.”
WE WILL ALWAYS MAINTAIN THE PLACE OF OUR MARTYRS AND VETERANS IN OUR HEARTS
Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca also emphasized that July 15, which went down in history as a democracy lesson, should never be forgotten.
Mayor Hasan Kılca concluded his message as follows: “There were hungry eyes that hoped we would kneel that night, and there are still foes of evil lurking. Therefore, our duty today is to never forget that night of struggle we experienced and to work hard so that it will not be repeated. We are responsible for always preserving the place of our saintly martyrs and passing on their precious memories to future generations. Therefore, it should always be one of our important duties not to forget and not to forget July 15th.
With these feelings and thoughts; I wish God's mercy to all our martyrs who stood up with the love of the country, nation and flag, and sacrificed their lives without thinking a second with that deep faith and belief in their bosoms. My condolences to their precious families, I wish our veterans a good and long life. I would like to express my gratitude to our veterans and our entire nation, who wrote an epic on the evening of July 15 and shielded their bodies to prevent betrayal.”
