AK Party Konya Deputy Ahmet Sorgun, Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca and AK Party Karatay District President Mehmet Genç met with the youth in the "Youth Meetings" program organized by the AK Party Karatay District Youth Branch. Speaking in the program, Hasan Kılca emphasized that they support the multi-faceted development of the youth as a municipality, while Ahmet Sorgun said that the youth are the bright face of Turkey. Mehmet Genç, on the other hand, stated that they will shape the future of Karatay with the youth.

AK Party Konya Deputy Ahmet Sorgun, Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca, AK Party Karatay District President Mehmet Genç and AK Party Karatay Youth Branch President Erkam Alemdar attended the Youth Meeting held at Konya Karatay Youth Center by AK Party Karatay District Youth Branches as speakers.

Speaking about the youth investments made in Karatay in the meeting program held in a friendly atmosphere, President Hasan Kılca also consulted by asking their opinions about the investments that the young people would like to see in the district.

Stating that they have implemented many projects for young people, President Kılca said, "We strive for a generation that has raised itself in every sense and has national and spiritual values," and stated that they contribute to social projects as well as physical and infrastructure municipality, giving the message that they are always with the youth.

Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca emphasized that as a municipality, they support the multi-faceted development of young people and stated that they strive to create opportunities that will guide young people to science, art, cultural and sports activities.

Pointing out that a new protocol for education and youth is signed every day in Karatay, Kılca said: “As per our social municipality principle, we have presented and continue to present studies and projects that center our young brothers and sisters one by one. We are aware of the light and substance in you. We attach great importance to such distinguished programs that we will come together with young people and we enjoy getting together on different platforms. Almost every day, we make new projects and protocols related to education. As Karatay Municipality, we aim to touch each and every one of the young people in our district, to contribute to their education and to support them in their preparation for the future.”

TURKEY'S LARGEST BOOK CAFE WILL BE OPENED IN KARATAY

Reminding that Turkey's largest Book Café will be opened in Karatay, Hasan Kılca said: “As the municipality, we are carrying out very important works related to the development of the city, but the more important thing for us is the revival of the generation. For this reason, we signed a cooperation protocol with Konya Youth and Sports Directorate and allocated our Celaleddin Karatay Youth Center to the Konya Youth and Sports Directorate in order to serve our youth. When our relevant general manager from the Ministry of Youth and Sports came and told me about this project and the work he will do with young people, I was very excited. And together with our assembly, we decided to allocate one of the most used wedding halls of our Konya to the service of our youth. Turkey's largest book cafe will be opened here. The areas where our young people can do sports will be training classes. Our facility will be open 24/7. In other words, this hall, which you can use to the fullest, will be at your disposal.”

SORGUN: WE BELIEVE AND TRUST OUR YOUTH

AK Party Konya Deputy Ahmet Sorgun noted that they are members of a party that values young people, paves the way for them, provides opportunities for them to have all kinds of opportunities, and gives them authority without hesitation, and said that young people are the bright face of Turkey.

Sorgun made the following statements in the continuation of his speech; “You, our esteemed young brothers, are both our energy source and our hope for a bright future. We are glad to have you, our young people, each of whom is a separate gem. Our youth gave the best answer to those who are worried about our youth by saying Z generation, on 15 July. Our young people, whom they criticize as Generation Z, made a history in the streets and squares against betrayal. This youth has revealed that there is a very large youth group that takes care of their homeland and their flag. We believe in you, we trust you. We will do whatever is necessary for us. Because you are the one who will build the future.”

YOUTH WILL DIRECT THE FUTURE OF KARATAY

Expressing that they will meet with young people frequently, Mehmet Genç said:

“Our young people are our source of energy and our driving force. In our success in Karatay, the efforts and efforts of our young people are too great to be denied. We held this meeting so that we could listen to our youth. From now on, we will continue to meet every week in all neighborhoods of Karatay. Our main goal here is to listen to our young people and to shape the future of our Karatay together.”

AK Party Karatay Youth Branch President Erkam Alemdar said that they took the first step of the Youth Meetings program that will be held continuously in the neighborhoods and thanked Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca, who always supported them.
