Karatay Municipality, which does its services with the understanding of the "road is civilization",  brought the New Asphalt Plant, 55 new service vehicles, and Analysis Laboratory for Asphalt and Concrete Elements to the district in this context. Uğur İbrahim Altay, the Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality,  who emphasized the harmony between the municipalities in Konya, thanked the Karatay Municipality for the services it provided to the district, meanwhile, Hasan Angı,  the  Konya Provincial Head of AK Party, noted that the services provided are a golden opportunity for the city to prepare for the future. Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, who emphasized that it is their pride to serve Karatay, noted that they shall succeed much faster and higher quality works in the district with 37 million new investments in total. Mustafa Kavuş, the Mayor of Meram, wished good luck with the new investments brought to Karatay, and said; “wherever there is an investment in all districts of Konya, we will all be glad about it.

The new Asphalt Plant was put into service with the unveiling ceremony for the Asphalt and Concrete Elements Analysis Laboratory with 55 new service vehicles. The commissioning and unveiling of the new facility, laboratory, and construction equipment were held at Tatlıcak Facilities.

Karatay Municipality aims to achieve important works with the asphalt plant put into service with the contributions of Konya Metropolitan Municipality and 55 new service vehicles brought to the district due to its equities and Analysis Laboratory for Asphalt and Concrete Elements.

The Asphalt Plant Facility, put into service by the Karatay Municipality to make the roads in Karatay comply with the standards and norms, was added next to the asphalt production center that is already available in the Tatlıcak Facilities.

Together with the new Asphalt Plant Facility costing TRY 13 million 500 thousand, it will save both time and economy with its capacity to produce 240 tons per hour under proper circumstances, more production with less stand, and the ability to produce the appropriate mixture tested in the laboratory.

LABORATORY WILL INCREASE THE QUALITY OF ROAD AND CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS

Karatay Municipality is establishing a modern laboratory where asphalt and concrete can be analyzed through the Analysis Laboratory for Asphalt and Concrete Elements, which it has also put into service together with the Asphalt Plant Facility.

In the laboratory established at the Asphalt Plant Site in Tatlıcak facilities, the quality of the asphalt, pavement, curb, cobblestone, and ground productions laid on the roads of Karatay will increase by the means of 36 devices. Analysis Laboratory for Asphalt and Concrete Elements will perform soil, asphalt, and concrete analyzes with state-of-the-art equipment.

While the Analysis Laboratory for Asphalt and Concrete Elements, which will check the control materials used in all works such as roads, concrete, and pavements to be carried out by Karatay Municipality, ensures a longer life for the works, substantial financial savings will also be obtained.

KARATAY MUNICIPALITY HAS ADDED 55 VEHICLES TO ITS VEHICLE FLEET

On the other hand, Karatay Municipality, which maintains its efforts to provide quality service to citizens throughout the district with all its units, has further strengthened its fleet with 55 new vehicles it has included in its structure

The vehicles included in the service fleet were purchased by the municipality with the municipality's own funds without using any loan. 55 new vehicles were put at the disposal of the citizens to be used in the works of the municipality.

The total cost of the vehicles, consisting of 10 trucks and 5 construction equipment that will strengthen the infrastructure and asphalt works, 12 waste collection vehicles to be used in our Zero Waste works, 7 service vans, 8 water trucks that can be used actively in fire extinguishing, and 13 service vehicles, is approximately TRY 23 million.

WE SET OUT TO BE THE SERVANT OF THIS CITY

 Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay Municipality, who stated that they brought the New Asphalt Plant to the district with a budget of 37 million, and an Analysis Laboratory for Asphalt and Concrete Elements with 55 new service vehicles, said that they set out to be the servant of this city, so that the services can reach all regions more quickly and healthily.

Stating that they have doubled the number of asphalt plants and that they will build faster and higher quality roads with the New Asphalt Plant, Hasan Kılca said: As individuals who set out to establish a bridge of heart between the state and the nation, we continue to work day and night. All of our efforts are to contribute to the best of our Karatay, Konya, and beautiful country.  In this context, we attach particular importance to the new road building, asphalt coating, and maintenance-repair works that we carry out all over our district. We, the Karatay Municipality, offer the asphalt plant with a high production capacity of 240 tons per hour and a value of TRY 13 million 500 thousand to our Karatay in order to achieve greater works with the understanding of the road is civilization. I would like to thank the Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality, who contributed to the acquisition of our new asphalt plant in Karatay. Our new Asphalt Plant will both accelerate and enrich our efforts so far.

LIFE EXPECTANCY OF ROADS WILL INCREASE WITH ASPHALT LABORATORY

He continued his speech by stating that with the Analysis Laboratory FOR Asphalt and Concrete Elements, the laboratory will increase the quality of road and construction materials, continued his speech as follows: “It is also highly important to produce asphalt that is more proper for the climatic conditions of our Konya, with a higher life expectancy and durability. In this context, we also put our “Analysis Laboratory for Asphalt and Concrete Elements” into service in order to use our material and human resources much more efficiently and to increase the quality of asphalt.  The quality standard of the product will increase even more and we will be glad to serve our fellow citizens better due to the 36 devices in this facility.”

55 MORE VEHICLES JOINED KARATAY'S VEHICLE FLEET

Hasan Kılca, the Mayor, who stated that the highest item among the expenditures of municipalities regarding vehicle purchases, which is the third service they unveiled, is vehicle hires or purchases, emphasized that these purchases are made with the municipality's fund, as in many purchases and projects so far, and wished all the best with 55 vehicles.

Hasan Kılca, the Mayor,  said the following, "We, the Karatay Municipality, are trying to serve our fellow citizens faster and unremittingly. Therefore, we have been working to strengthen our vehicle fleet since the day we took office. Last year, we expanded our fleet by purchasing 34 vehicles. This year, we are adding ten more trucks and five more construction equipment to our vehicle fleet, that will support us in our infrastructure and asphalt works.

In addition to this, we are adding 12 waste collection vehicles and seven service vans to be used in our Zero Waste works, which we attach great importance to as a municipality, seven water trucks and 13 service vehicles that we have designed to use actively in extinguishing the fires we have been exposed to in the country, especially in the past weeks. We purchased 55 vehicles that we put into service today, costing approximately 23 million TL in total, with our municipality's fund, as we have done so far. With all these services, our primary goal is to set a higher standard of service for Karatay and  get ready to do works for brand new projects without stopping, as we promised our fellow citizens. I wish the best for our new asphalt plant, which we put into service and  amounted to TRY  37 million in total, 55 vehicles and our analysis laboratory for asphalt and concrete elements .”

IN DIFFICULT DAYS, THESE INVESTMENTS MAKE US FEEL BETTER TO SOME EXTENT

Faruk Ulular, the Deputy Mayor of Selcuklu,  said that while Turkey has difficult times, they were happy to some extent with the investments made for the citizens. Ulular, said “When our country has  difficult times, being a servant to our nation with such unveilings gives makes us feel better to some extent. We are very pleased to see a new facility and a new investment every day made by the Karatay Municipality and other municipalities, acting on the understanding of "serving people is serving God. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this service,"

Mustafa Kavuş, the Mayor of Meram, who emphasized that the level of service in Konya is rising day by day, emphasized that they will continue to be a servant and work with the support of the people. Today, we are unveiling the asphalt plant implemented by our Karatay Municipality with the support of our Metropolitan Municipality, the Analysis Laboratory for Asphalt and Concrete Elements brought to Konya by our Karatay Municipality, and 55 new vehicles.  We, the Municipalities of AK Party,  have provided very important services to Konya. We will continue to maintain the spirit of unity and brotherhood with the support we receive from the people of Konya same as before. This is the period when coordination is at its highest.
