KARATAY MUNICIPALITY CONTINUES ITS INVESTMENTS FOR THE FUTURE

KILCA: OUR YOUNG PEOPLE ARE THE MOST PRECIOUS TREASURE OF OUR COUNTRY.

The project, which was carried out by Karatay Municipality and whose foundations started to be laid last year, is progressing rapidly to bring 30 new Astroturf fields in accordance with FIFA norms to 30 schools in the district. The Astroturf installation of 8 schools has been completed within the scope of the project and is ready for the new school year. Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, stated that they continue to contribute to children and growing young people and said: "We will continue to work for the happiness and peace of our young people, the most precious treasure of our country."

In addition to physical and infrastructure municipality, Karatay Municipality attaches great importance to youth and especially sports. Karatay Municipality, which has realized the project "30 New Astroturf for 30 Schools in Karatay", laid the first foundations of the Astroturf projects in October last year.

Karatay Municipality's Building Control Department teams also accelerated their efforts to complete the Astroturf in the new school year, with the decision of the Ministry of National Education to re-start face-to-face education in schools in September.

THE ASTROTURF OF EIGHT SCHOOLS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED

In this context, the teams completed the construction of the Astroturf of eight schools included in the “30 Astroturf Field Projects for 30 Schools”. The Astroturf completed are as follows; Şehit Azam Güdendede Anatolian High School, Şehit Üsteğmen Mehmet Düzenli Imam Hatip Secondary School, Çumralıoğlu Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, Hüseyin Sevim Köroğlu Primary School, Namık Kemal Secondary School, Köseali Primary School, schools in Kızören and Ipekler Neighbourhoods.

YOUTH IS THE MOST PRECIOUS TREASURE OF OUR COUNTRY

Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, stated that they, the Karatay Municipality, produce projects for all young people and children at the age of development and education.

Hasan Kılca, the Mayor, stated that the Astroturf, for which it was started to lay the foundations in October last year, have this purpose, and said the following: “Youth is the most precious treasure of our country and human life. Turkey is also a very rich country in terms of the young population. We have absolute confidence in our youth. Alhamdulillah, we have a youth that researches, learns, and continuously improves itself. What we can do for them is less, because they are our crown jewel. In this context, we, the Karatay Municipality, started to work on providing new Astroturf fields to our 30 schools in Karatay last year to contribute to the growth of our children both physically and mentally. Our teams have completed the installation of the Astroturf projects of eight of our schools so far. Our Astroturf are built in the size of 1000 square meters, in accordance with FIFA norms and in the form of Astroturf. Our Astroturf are surrounded by Galvanized wire mesh. And also the walkways of our Astroturf are covered with interlocking paving stones. We aim to contribute to the best growth of our kids, who are our future and hope. As a country, we need our youth to progress by getting stronger and by developing. Therefore, we love our young people very much and try to produce projects and make them happy. On this occasion, I wish all the best with our eight Astroturf, for which the installation has been completed. I hope we will finish our remaining Astroturf quickly and make them available to our children.”
