THE CHAMPIONSHIP SAW THE FATHER-SON FINAL FOR THE FIRST TIME IN TURKEY

OUR NATIONAL ATHLETES WILL FIGHT FOR QUOTA FOR THE “2024 PARIS OLYMPICS”

The Shooting Team of Karatay Belediyespor Club left its mark on the "Turkish Federation of Shooting-Skeet Championship" organized by the Turkish Shooting Federation in Konya. The championship also witnessed a first. Fatih Baran and Ahmet Baran, the athletes of the Shooting Team of Karatay Belediyespor gave a father-son final battle for the first time in Turkey. National athletes, who also protected their country's threshold points, also gained the right to fight for the quota for the "2024 Paris Olympics".

The Skeet (shooting) Team, which carries on its activities within the body of Karatay Belediyespor Club, continues to leave its mark on the competitions it participates in.

In this context, the Skeet-Shooting Team became popular with its success in the " Turkish Federation of Shooting-Skeet Championship" organized by the Turkish Shooting Federation in Konya.

A FIRST IN TURKEY! FATHER-SON FINAL IS WORTH WATCHING

In the competitions held under the management of Team Coach Fatih Baran, four Shooting Team athletes of four Karatay Belediyespor Club competing in the Senior Men category got to the finals and led the way. Those who followed the championship also witnessed a first in the competition. Accordingly, Fatih Baran and Ahmet Baran, the shooting athletes of the Karatay Belediyespor gave a father-son final battle for the first time in Turkey and displayed colorful images.

In the Senior Women's category, Nur Banu Balkancı, the national athlete, won the gold medal as the Champion of Turkey. In the Star Men category, young athlete Muhittin Can Önür stood on the podium as the Turkish Champion of Star Men's.  Onur Atak won the silver medal and Ahmet Baran the bronze medal in the Senior Men's category. National athletes Onur Atak, Salih Hafız, and Ahmet Baran won the first trophy in the Senior Men's team category and became the Turkish Champions as a team.

On the other hand, the National Athletes who sweated for the Shooting-Skeet Team of Karatay Belediyespor Club were entitled to represent our country in international competitions by protecting their country's threshold points. With these achievements, the National Athletes of the Shooting-Skeet Team will also fight for the quota for the 2024 Paris Olympics
