USTA: KARATAY LAVENDER DAYS ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR THE PROMOTION OF OUR KONYA, KARATAY AND VALUES

THANKS TO TENS OF THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS WHO ATTENDED THE EVENTS FROM KILCA

"Karatay Lavender Days" organized by Karatay Municipality in Karatay Lavender Garden attracted big attention from citizens. While more than 120 thousand visitors attended the two-day events, Leyla Şahin Usta, the Deputy Chairman of the AK Party, visited the domain together with Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay. Leyla Şahin Usta emphasized that the Karatay Lavender Garden and the Karatay Lavender Days, organized for the first time this year, are of great importance for the promotion of Konya and Karatay. Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, also thanked tens of thousands of citizens who attended the events.

Karatay Lavender Garden, which opened its doors to the citizens on July 2 this year, also hosted the "Karatay Lavender Days" at the weekend and was completed with the participation of thousands of young and old alike citizens.

120 THOUSAND PEOPLE ATTENDED KARATAY LAVENDER DAYS WITHIN TWO DAYS

Leyla Şahin Usta,  the Deputy Chairman of the AK Party together with  Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, met with the citizens who visited the event area and the Karatay Lavender Garden on the last day of the activities.

During the program accompanied by Mehmet Genç, the Karatay District Head of the AK Party, Leyla Şahin Usta, the Konya Deputy, and Hasan Kılca, the Mayor visited the companies and organizations that opened their stands within the scope of the events and met with the citizens.

Leyla Şahin Usta, Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) and Deputy of Konya, thanked those who contributed to the organization of "Karatay Lavender Days" and congratulated Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, who brought Turkey's largest lavender garden to Konya.

Leyla Şahin Usta said the following; “Our Konya has many values. Lavender is becoming one of these important and beautiful values. In this sense, I also attach importance to the Karatay Lavender Days, organized to promote the many values of our Konya, Karatay, and our city. Our children also show great interest in the activities carried out within the scope of the program. The first "Karatay Lavender Days" was held this year, and I hope it will be much more beautiful next year. We all set out to serve our people, and our duty is to make our people happy. We will continue to do everything that needs to be done for this.”

Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, emphasized that the two-day activities were completed with great participation, and thanked tens of thousands of citizens who attended the Karatay Lavender Days.

Mayor Hasan Kılca said; “We continue to produce projects that will add value to our Konya and district. Therefore, in 2019, we started to endeavour for building the largest lavender garden of Turkey. These areas were previously occupied and covered with rubble. Now we have this garden of unique beauty. We decorated this garden with the two-day Karatay Lavender Days. All our citizens, young and old alike, who attended the events, had a very good memory. In addition to our citizens, reputable companies and organizations of our city and country also showed interest in the events. This event also offered a good promotion and shopping opportunity for them. I would like to take this opportunity to thank more than 120 thousand citizens, companies, organizations and everyone who contributed to the organization of the events, who participated in the Karatay Lavender Days, organized by us for the first time this year.”
