The training of the "Summer Courses of Karatay Youth Assembly" organized by the Youth Assembly of the Karatay Municipality City Council has ended. The students, who participated in the training, realized to enable children and young people to spend their summer holidays more productive and enjoyable, provided a lovely evening for the guests with the poems and melodies they sang in the program.  In his speech at the program, Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, underlined that the Summer Courses of the Karatay Youth Assembly made significant contributions to the education and development of children and youth in educational age. Mayor Hasan Kılca, who also talked about the projects they have implemented in the field of education as Karatay Municipality, said, "Our aim is to revive our generations and prepare our children well for the future."

Karatay Municipality City Council Youth Assembly, which continues its activities especially for children and genes at the age of education, with the slogan of "There are many hearts to be captured, but there are many ways to go", has successfully completed another important project that it has put into practice.

The training of the "Summer Courses" of Karatay Youth Assembly" realized to make children and young people of educational age spend their summer holidays more productively and enjoyable has ended. The final of the training was held with the closing program organized by the Karatay Youth Assembly.

THE SUMMER COURSES’ CLOSING PROGRAM WAS HELD WITH BROAD PARTICIPATION

 Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, Sami Sağdıç, the Karatay District National Education Director, District Protocol Members, Karatay Municipality'S Deputy Mayors, Karatay Municipality Council Members, Abdurrahim Arslan, the City Council President of Karatay Municipality, Fazilet Koçyiğit, the Head of Karatay City Council Women's Assembly,  Ahmet Babuççu, the President of Karatay City Council's Youth Assembly, Mehmet Genç, the Karatay District Head of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party),  Hülya Işık, the Karatay District Women's Branch Head of the AK Party, students who attended Karatay Youth Assembly's Summer Courses and their families attended the program at Mevlana Cultural Center Sultan Veled Hall.

WE CONTRIBUTED TO BOTH THE EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF OUR CHILDREN

In his speech at the program, Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, said that a total of 700 people, 400 from secondary schools and 300 from high schools, applied to the project implemented by Karatay Youth Assembly this year and that the students participated in many activities with intensive education between 4 July and 26 August.

Mayor Hasan Kılca said; “Our children received Quran-based Prophetic Bibliography, Concise Islamic Catechism, and Basic Religious Knowledge training every weekday. Our talented children received Marbling, Photoshop, Intellectual Intelligence Games Workshop training, and also volleyball, basketball, football, table tennis, chess, and archery to support their sportive success. In addition to all these courses, our students also have more activities such as Paintball, Archery, Horse Riding, Bowling, Lasertag, Aquapark, Swimming, City Tour, Science Center Trip, Butterfly Valley Trip, Cinema, Picnic, Lavender Garden Trip, Museum Trip, so that they can spend the summer months productively and enjoyable. During our summer course, 30 teachers, 25 advisors, and 10 assistant staff worked for our students. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who stands by our students with their education, interest, and sensitivity. Our Karatay City Council's Youth Assembly also contributed to the education and development of our children with this good project. With this and many more projects, they are doing good work for our children and youth. We will continue to stand by our City Council, Youth and Women's Assembly in every project.”

OUR PURPOSE IS TO REVIVE OUR GENERATIONS AND PREPARE OUR CHILDREN WELL FOR THE FUTURE

Reminding that the 2022-2023 Education and Training Period will begin about two weeks later, Mayor Hasan Kılca underlined that they, the Karatay Municipality, continue to do the necessary to ensure that children and young people feel comfortable in their schools and receive their education in good environments.

 Hasan Kılca concluded his words as follows; “While we are building new schools needed by our district, on the other hand, we are realizing many new services to overcome the deficiencies of your schools, if any. Nevertheless,   as for the last three years, we will provide bags and stationery support to approximately 10 thousand children who will start primary school in our district this year. We make artificial astroturf fields in the gardens of our schools in accordance with the new FIFA norms. We are establishing TÜBİTAK Popular Science Publications libraries in our schools. We send TÜBİTAK Meraklı Minik, Bilim Çocuk, and Bilim ve Teknik journals to thousands of our students. Therefore, with this and many more projects that I cannot count, our only aim in our service is to revive our generations and to prepare our children much better for the future. Whatever we do for our youth and children is worth it. We have tried to do our best for them this summer, and we will continue to do so.

After the speech of Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, the students who took the “Summer Courses of Karatay Youth Assembly” presented the program they prepared to the participants. The young people read the poems and sang the melodies they learned during their training, and gave the participants a lovely evening with various activities. At the end of the program, the students who were successful as a result of the training they received were presented with awards and gifts.
