The "40 Ney Concert" organized by Karatay Municipality to contribute to the culture, art, and social life of Konya was held with intense interest. A giant team of 44 people, including 40 ney players as well as instruments such as Qanun, Tamboura, Bandir, and Kudum, took the stage under the direction of Master Ney Player Ali Erol and delighted the hearts of art lovers from Konya. Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, thanked the artists and art lovers who participated in this unique evening, and said, "I would like to thank all our ney players, saz players, and our master Ali Erol, who delighted our ears and hearts and pierced our hearts."

Karatay Municipality, which has carried out many important projects related to culture and art in Karatay, organized a "40 Ney Concert" this time.

At the music feast at the Sultan Veled Hall of the Mevlana Cultural Center, a giant team of 44, including 40 ney players, as well as instruments such as  Qanun, Tamboura, Bandir, and Kudum, took the stage under the General Artistic Directorship of Master Ney Player Ali Erol and  Konya residents who filled the hall had an unforgettable evening.

Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay,  Mustafa Kabakçı, the 23rd, and 24th Term AK Party Konya Deputy, Sami Sağdıç, the Karatay District Director of National Education, Musa İmamoğlu, the District Mufti,  Mehmet Genç, the Karatay District Head of the AK Party and art lovers from Konya attended the concert, which attracted intense interest.

In the concert, works such as Hicaz Hümayun Peşrevi, Beyati Ayin-i 4. Selamı, Uşşak Saz Semaisi, Uşşak İlahi (hymn) ve Niyaz İlahisi (hymn) were revived with the breaths of ney players, the guest artists of the concert, Master Neyz players M Sadreddin Özçimi, Fahrettin Acar, Yasin Özçimi Ahmet Şahin, and Muhammed Ceylan were strongly applauded for a long time for their magnificent performances.

Municipalism is not just about physical and infrastructure works. We, the Karatay Municipality, attach great importance to our culture and arts programs, and we will maintain to organize such events. I want to thank our male and female ney players and saz players who delighted our ears and hearts and pierced our hearts and to our master Ali Erol, who made a great contribution in making this evening unique, and of course to all my fellow citizens who filled our hall”.
