HASAN KILCA: TRAFFIC EDUCATION PARK HAS BECOME AN IMPORTANT VALUE

The theoretical and practical traffic trainings initiated for primary school 4th graders in Karatay Traffic Education Park, which was brought to the district by Karatay Municipality, continue. Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca, together with Konya Provincial Police Chief Engin Dinç, Deputy Provincial Police Chief Ramazan Bozcayüce, Konya Provincial Gendarmerie Command Traffic Branch Manager Hüseyin Şahin, Karatay District Governor Yavuz Güner and Karatay District Director of National Education Sami Sağdıç visited the Karatay Traffic Education Park and met with the students receiving education here. Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca said that 6 thousand 800 4th grade primary school students studying in Karatay will learn traffic rules both practically and theoretically in Karatay Traffic Education Park this semester and said, "Our Karatay Traffic Education Park, which is an important value for Konya and our district, is the only center in Turkey where our police and gendarmerie provide training together."

Trainings are continuing at Karatay Traffic Education Park established by Karatay Municipality in Ulubatlı Hasan Neighborhood.

PROVINCIAL AND DISTRICT PROTOCOL VISITED KARATAY TRAFFIC EDUCATION PARK

Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca visited the Karatay Traffic Education Park together with Konya Provincial Police Chief Engin Dinç, Deputy Provincial Police Chief Ramazan Bozcayüce, Provincial Gendarmerie Command Traffic Branch Manager Hüseyin Şahin, Karatay District Governor Yavuz Güner and Karatay District National Education Director Sami Sağdıç.

The protocol members, who examined the practical trainings received by a total of 6,800 primary school 4th graders in 59 schools across Karatay in this academic year, also participated in the theoretical trainings given by expert trainers and traffic police officers from the Provincial Police Directorate and enriched with animated films.

TRAFFIC TRAINING PARK IS THE ONLY CENTER IN TURKEY WHERE POLICE AND GENDARMERIE TRAIN TOGETHER

Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca stated that the trainings continue smoothly and successfully and that they aim to contribute to the creation of traffic culture in children at an early age with these trainings.

Mayor Hasan Kılca;“Trainings continue in our Karatay Traffic Training Park, which we have created in our Ulubatlı Hasan Neighborhood. Karatay Traffic Education Park has become a new value for our district with its Café Karatay, simulation center, watchtower, traffic training track, tunnel, pedestrian overpass, pedestrian crossings, intersection, mini parking area, bicycle path, open parking area and children's playground. Another feature of Karatay Traffic Training Park is that it is the only training center in Turkey where our gendarmerie and police train together. Our goal is to raise awareness about traffic among the 4th graders 6 thousand 800 students studying throughout our district. If there is enough time left for the education planning, we are considering to include our students studying in other classes in the education program. Our children learn traffic rules both theoretically and practically with this project. I wish that our project and park, where we contribute to the training and development of our youngsters, will be beneficial; I would like to thank everyone who participated in and supported the trainings."
