HASAN KILCA: OUR CHILDREN ALSO HAVE A SAY IN THE MANAGEMENT OF OUR DISTRICT

Karatay Municipality City Council Children's Council organized a “Karatay Children's Festival” with the participation of primary and secondary school students who are the school representatives of the Children's Council throughout the district. The children had fun with colorful shows, activities, workshops and competitions throughout the day. Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca also did not leave the children alone at the festival. Emphasizing that the Karatay City Council is doing important work for the development of the district, Hasan Kılca said; “Our City Council, our Women's and Youth Council as well as our Children's Council are decisive in our ruling. In other words, they also have a say in the management of our district,” .

Karatay Municipality organized a “Karatay Children's Festival” by the City Council Children's Council with the participation of 110 representatives from primary and secondary schools throughout the district, which are part of the Children's Council.

KARATAY CHILDREN HAD A FUN-FILLED DAY

During the organization held at the Karatay Youth Center, children experienced a festival full of colorful shows, activities and workshops throughout the day. Children had fun with educational games such as photo animation, Twister, quiz, foot bowling, drawing, command movement, chair grabbing, Janga, and Survivor at 10 different game stations created for them.

In the stations and other areas, the volunteers of the Karatay Youth Council did not leave the children participating in the festival alone for a moment and accompanied them in the games. The children also had the opportunity to introduce themselves during the festival and to discuss the activities of the Karatay City Council Children's Council and the work of the upcoming semester.

PRESIDENT HASAN KILCA DID NOT LEAVE THE CHILDREN ALONE

Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca, together with Karatay District Director of National Education Sami Sağdıç, Karatay Deputy Mayor Osman Ciğer, Karatay City Council President Abdurrahim Arslan and Karatay City Council Youth Council President Ahmet Babuççu participated in the children's entertainment in the festival area. Mayor Hasan Kılca and District Director of National Education Sami Sağdıç, who chatted with the children for a while, did not neglect to give gifts to the children participating in the festival.

Because city councils consist of names determined from many other sectors, from non-governmental organizations to universities, chambers to representatives of political parties. Like these organizations that contribute effectively and independently to the management of the city, our Karatay City Council has been putting its signature under very good works, especially for the last 3.5 years. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the units of our Karatay City Council. We not only established our Children's Council, but also created our Karatay Children's Council, which we lacked. These individuals, which include 110 representatives from primary and secondary schools, contribute to their decisions with the management of the city from their own eyes, from their own age and point of view. In other words, we now have children in the management of our Karatay in our city. We are obliged to fulfill the decisions you will take as a municipality. We will continue to work hard for you after that, as we have done until today,”.

Karatay District Director of National Education Sami Sağdıç also expressed his happiness to be at the Karatay Children's Festival organized by the Karatay City Council Children's Council and said; "Karatay Youth Center has become another beautiful place with our children today. Karatay Municipality is interested in everything in our district, but at the same time it is one of the rare municipalities that also cares about both young people and children and makes a lot of effort in this regard.
