SINCE 2019, 1000 KILOMETERS OF ROAD ARRANGEMENT WORK AND 2 MILLION SQUARE METERS OF PARQUET WORK HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT

MORE THAN 750 THOUSAND TONS OF ASPHALT PAVING HAS BEEN MADE SINCE 2019

Karatay Municipality, which made more comfortable and safe roads in Karatay with the realized investments, increased the living standards of citizens with parquet road projects and changed the look of the district with new road works, was also in an intense effort in 2022. Karatay Municipality, which put all the teams of the Directorate of Public Works on the field throughout the year, laid 150 thousand tons of hot asphalt in 2022, while the road arrangement works carried out in the period since 2019 exceeded 1000 kilometers. The parquet work carried out in the district within the same process is exactly 2 million square meters.

The teams of Karatay Municipality's Public Works Directorate carried out hot asphalt, surface coating, new road opening, road maintenance and repair, parquet roads, curbs and many other works all over the district in 2022. Karatay Municipality, which put all the teams of public works on the field throughout the year; managed to make 2022 a year of change and transformation for Karatay.

SINCE 2019, 1000 KILOMETERS OF ROAD ARRANGEMENT WORK HAS BEEN CARRIED OUT IN KARATAY

As a result of planned, programmed and diligent work, the public works teams have made Karatay's roads much safer and more comfortable by carrying out more than 1000 kilometers of road arrangement work in total in the process since 2019.

During 2022, the teams laid hot asphalt at many points of the distant neighborhoods as well as the center, and carried out hot asphalt works on 166 streets in the district center and 25 streets in the industrial zones. Therefore, a total of 150 thousand tons of hot asphalt paving was carried out at the points taken into the investment program this year. The hot asphalt target set by Karatay Municipality for 2023 throughout the district is 150 thousand tons. Therefore, Karatay Municipality Public Works teams have laid a total of 750 thousand tons of asphalt throughout the district since 2019.

BOTH THE CENTER AND THE REMOTE NEIGHBORHOODS ARE SERVED WITH THE SAME EFFORT

In 2022, Karatay Municipality Public Works teams worked with the same sensitivity and effort in the district center as well as the distant neighborhoods and the connection roads of these neighborhoods.

In 2022, the teams, who carried out surface coating work on 350 thousand square meters, completed 47 kilometers of roads in total. On the other hand, Karatay Municipality has set a target of 65 kilometers of surface coating work on an area of 510 thousand square meters in 2023.

2 MILLION SQUARE METERS OF PAVING WORK WAS DONE

Karatay Municipality Public Works teams have made significant contributions to the quality of citizens' lives by carrying out a total of 2 million square meters of parquet work in all neighborhoods in the center and in all neighborhoods far from the center since 2019.

In addition to opening a new road in the district, renewing existing roads, carrying out maintenance and repairs, Karatay spent 2022 quite intensively in terms of pavement, landscaping, parquet, parquet road and curb works.

Karatay Municipality Public Works teams, which carried out 1 million 135 thousand square meters of parquet and 335 thousand meters of curb work in 2021, carried out 430 thousand square meters of parquet and 310 thousand meters of curb work in 2022. The paving target set by the teams for 2023 is 640 thousand square meters and 355 thousand meters of curb work. 

WE DO WHATEVER IS NECESSARY FOR THE COMFORT AND HAPPINESS OF OUR COMPATRIOTS

Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca evaluated the works carried out by the Public Works Directorate teams throughout the district in 2022.

Stating that all teams of the Public Works Directorate have been working intensively all over the district throughout the year in order to provide citizens with much more comfortable and safe transportation, Mayor Hasan Kılca said; "We have been working day and night since the day we took office within the framework of the planning and program we have determined as the municipality. As a result of this, our teams have made a road arrangement work exceeding 1000 kilometers since 2019. During this period, our teams, which have realized 750 thousand tons of asphalt paving, have made more than 150 thousand tons of asphalt paving in the year 2022, which we are now about to leave behind. Again, we have carried out paving work on an area of over 2 million square meters since 2019. Therefore, we have done and will continue to do everything necessary from new road construction to renovation, maintenance and repair of our existing roads, from paving to park road construction, to locked parquet, trestle and curb works at the points where the infrastructure has been completed in our district. We will continue to work with the goal of contributing to the increase of the living standards of our district in 2023 as it has been until today,”.
