KARATAY CITY COUNCIL CONQUERED THE HEARTS OF TENS OF THOUSANDS OF KARATAY RESIDENTS

KARATAY MAYOR HASAN KILCA THANKED THE CITY COUNCIL

Karatay Municipality City Council has signed successful projects throughout the district with over 10 thousand volunteers throughout 2022. having managed to touch tens of thousands of people throughout the district with its programs covering all ages and groups from age 7 to 70, Karatay City Council has also carried out important activities in terms of citizen participation in the services and decision-making stages offered by Karatay Municipality. Congratulating the Karatay City Council for its diligent work, Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca emphasized that the Karatay City Council has a big share in the success stories in the district.

Karatay Municipality City Council, which continues its activities within the body of Karatay Municipality in a way to include all segments of society, has made its name mentioned again with the programs, projects and activities it has organized throughout the year 2022.

Karatay City Council has produced hundreds of projects from education to health, culture and personal development with more than 10 thousand volunteers, including 93 coordinators, one thousand university students, 8 thousand high school students, 50 women and 50 children. The Karatay City Council, which represents Karatay with all its groups and dynamics, thus spent the year 2022 to the fullest.

KARATAY YOUTH COUNCIL HAS CONQUERED HEARTS

Karatay City Council Youth Council, which continued its activities especially for children and young people of educational age in 2022 with the slogan "There are many hearts to conquer, there are many roads to travel" throughout the year; Another program with Young People, A Break to Life Movie Night, Winter Workshop Probiotic Pickle Making, Meet and Gathering Camps, Traditional Konya pilaf treat for university students staying in KYK, Sahlep treat for employees on duty on the longest night on December 21, Journal in Karatay, 3D Open Air Cinemas, Let's Go to the Cinema events, Necmettin Erbakan University 101 FEST, KTO Karatay University Artificial Intelligence Festivals, academic education support for orphaned and disadvantaged children, E-Sports Preparations, R&D Garage, Musical Nights, hostel visits and many other programs have succeeded in conquering the hearts of hundreds of young Karatayans.

KARATAY WOMEN'S COUNCIL CONTRIBUTED TO THE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC LIFE OF WOMEN

The Women's Council of the Karatay Municipality City Council also spent 2022 quite efficiently. The Women's Council has implemented many projects aimed at making women more active, participatory, productive and entrepreneurial through social projects, cultural excursion programs.

In this context, Karatay Women's Council organized many other programs such as Paper Relief Workshop, Women's Day Program, Lavender Soap, Candle and Cream Workshop, Family-Educator Meetings, Cinema activities for Public Education Course students, Meeting Program, Home Visits and Fairy Tale Nights throughout 2022 and spent 2022 to the fullest with programs that support women's social, cultural and economic lives.

CHILDREN FROM KARATAY HAD A SAY IN THE DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION

Karatay Municipality established the "Karatay Children, Environment and Zero Waste Children's Council" in 2022 in order for children to actively participate in the district administration and take an active role in projects related to themselves and Karatay.

Karatay City Council Children's Council has also undertook many works in a short time, like other units. In particular; The Children's Council, which organized Children-Writer Meetings, out-of-town trips, Open-Air Cinemas and Children's Feast, also had a share in decisions related to children in the district. Karatay Children's Council, which also provides an opportunity for them to express their views on the requirements of social, cultural and economic life in the district, will continue its projects that will prepare children for the future in 2022, as well as in 2023.

SECONDARY EDUCATION WORKING GROUP STOOD BY STUDENTS IN 2022

The Secondary Education Working Group of Karatay City Council was on the side of the students studying in the district with many projects in 2022, which we have left behind.

In this context, the Secondary Education Working Group has accomplished important works with Orientation Programs, Student-Parent Meetings, Film Events, Reader-Author Meetings, Playstation Tournament, Book Analysis, Semester Camps, Karatay is Reading Project, Career Days, Holy Qandil Programs, Dictionary of Concepts, Summer Schools, Tashkent and Beyşehir Camps, Iftar Programs, Bursa, Bilecik, Çanakkale and Istanbul Cultural Trips, Online Readings and Sıra Night events.

ZERO WASTE VOLUNTEERS PROTECT NATURE AND THE FUTURE

Karatay City Council also had an important share in the Zero Waste projects carried out by Karatay Municipality. The Zero Waste Working Group of Karatay City Council provided great support to the “Zero Waste” projects of the municipality and enabled it to increase environmental sensitivity throughout the district.

In this context, Zero Waste Working Group contributed greatly to the Zero Waste mobilization of Karatay Municipality with many activities such as Zero Waste Children's Theater, Zero Waste Drama, Zero Waste Documentary Analysis, Wood Painting Workshop, Paper Filigree Workshop, Zero Waste Jewelry Design Workshop, Zero Waste Recycling Workshops, Zero Waste Recipe Workshop, Zero Waste Awareness Workshops, Sapling Planting Activities, Zero Waste Waste Free Life Camp, Zero Waste Iftar Program and Zero Waste Seminars.

KARATAY CITY COUNCIL WILL CONTINUE TO BE A PIONEER IN 2023 AS WELL

Karatay Municipality Karatay City Council, in addition to all these activities in 2022, will also undertake many new and original projects in 2023. Planning many more programs from E–Sports to R& D studies, nature hikes to camps, courses to seminars in 2023, Karatay City Council will continue to contribute to the social, cultural, and economic life of the district to the joint management of the city with its human-centered attitude, sincerity and Decency of participation.
