
56 DISASTER RELIEF TRUCKS AND 650.000 PIECES OF BREAD ARRIVED IN THE REGION
35 VEHICLES AND 152 MUNICIPAL PERSONNEL ARE IN THE REGION TO DRESS THE WOUNDS
Karatay Municipality has used every means available to dress the wounds in the region as soon as possible after two large earthquakes. Karatay Municipality, which completed its preparations without wasting time, supports the works in Hatay with 152 municipal personnel from different units, 35 vehicles, and equipment. On the other hand, while 56 truckloads of disaster relief materials collected at the Aid Collection Center in Konya Sports and Congress Center in Karatay were delivered to the region, Karatay People's Bread Factory has sent 650.00 pieces of bread to the region so far.
Karatay Municipality is on full alert to deliver aid to the region, shaken by the earthquake disaster.
Municipal teams, acting under the coordination of Konya Governorship, Konya Metropolitan Municipality, and AFAD, campaigned to deliver aid to the earthquake region, especially Hatay.
MUNICIPAL STAFF HELP TO RESCUE THE INJURED PEOPLE FROM THE RUBBLE
Teams of Karatay Municipality, contributed to the collection and delivery of 56 trucks of disaster relief material to Hatay within the scope of the aid campaign that started throughout Konya, participate in the work of non-governmental organization officers and volunteer search and rescue teams under the coordination of AFAD in Hatay, which was most affected by the earthquake.
Karatay Municipality personnel, who support the teams working in the earthquake rubble of destroyed buildings in many districts, and also in the center of Hatay, contribute to the rescue of earthquake victims and transportation of the injured to ambulances, as well as the removal works of rubble.
