
KARATAY MUNICIPALITY SUPPORTS DAMAGE ASSESSMENT WORKS IN GAZIANTEP AND OSMANIYE
HASAN KILCA: WE ARE IN THE REGION WITH ALL OUR TEAMS AND MEANS
Karatay Municipality, on the one hand, uses every means for the region after the large earthquakes that hit 11 provinces, on the other hand, supports the damage assessment works in Gaziantep and Osmaniye with its expert and technical team of 24 people under the coordination of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change. Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, underlined that, until the very last moment, the state and the people will work together in unity and solidarity to heal the wounds in the region.
While the whole of Turkey is mobilized for the region after the major earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, works continue uninterruptedly to determine the damage in the region.
KARATAY MUNICIPALITY IS ON THE FIELD WITH ITS 24 EXPERT AND TECHNICAL TEAM
Karatay Municipality is in the region with all its means, equipment, and teams. In this context, the expert and technical team consisting of a total of 24 people, working in the Karatay Municipality, Directorate of Zoning and Urbanization, the Building Control Directorate, and the Facilities Directorate support the damage assessment work in Gaziantep and Osmaniye under the coordination of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change.
A team of 24 architects, engineers and technicians, as well as experts in other fields, together with the ministry officials, contributes to the determination of the damage of all buildings in the region as destroyed or to be demolished immediately, with slight, moderate or severe damages, as well as soil survey throughout Osmaniye and Gaziantep.

Hasan Kılca, the Mayor of Karatay, underlined that our state and our people's hearts is with the region since the first moment of the earthquake and that everyone has taken responsibility for the wounds to be healed as soon as possible.
Mayor Hasan Kılca said the following; “There is a serious effort in the entire earthquake region. Everyone mobilized for the region influenced by the earthquake. While they struggle to normalize the region, on the one hand, efforts are being exerted to dry the tent and container areas of the region and to build new residences. We have been in the region with all our teams and means since the first day. In this context, we support the ongoing damage assessment works in Gaziantep and Osmaniye, with our expert and technical team consisting of a total of 24 people, working in the Karatay Municipality, Directorate of Zoning and Urbanization, the Building Control Directorate, and the Facilities Directorate support the damage assessment work in Gaziantep and Osmaniye under the coordination of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change.
Hopefully, the damage assessment works will also be completed devotedly and we will rebuild and revive our cities together.”
